Thanks for the info. I have ds1.11s on the GT4 and currently ME20 on the rear of my subaru and DS2500 on the front of the subaru. I'd like to try ME20 on the GT4, but I'm being cautious since pads can sometimes unevenly wear rotors and rear pads are a big commitment (lots of track days).

So ds1.11 fronts only give 6-7 days? I remember a post early on where you predicted getting 12 days out of them, but perhaps I'm making that up.

You're not making it up. The first set I used on the gt3 lasted that long. Subsequent to that they never lasted that long again on either car. I can't explain why

When you state toe, is this total toe or each side?

Thanks,

When you say 4mm toe, is that measured based on the 20" wheel or the entire diameter of the RE-71? Since my alignment guy works in degrees or minutes, would need to know this when doing the conversion.

Sorry, I don't know. I'm not sure how my shop calculates it.

1) That question is why I prefer to see an angle setup on the toe instead of a linear one.

2) Most likely the machine was programmed with the vehicle info and did the adjustment from there; which usually includes tires since some cars can have different sized wheels but yet maintain the same OD.

The gt4 shops I've interacted with in the bay area use toe sticks that are 20 or 21 inches in length. Not sure, but I think that includes Joe's shop.

I have 3/16 inch total toe (~4.8 mm total toe) in the rear and after two days with RE-71R I've noticed that my rear tires are wearing more quickly than my fronts. I was wondering if you had enough data yet to tell whether your rear tires wear less with 4 mm total toe in than with 6 mm?

I don't think the difference in toe will affect rear wear that much. It's weird, this last set of tires wore the front quicker, but the set before that the rear wore quicker. I think it's more a factor of how well I'm driving. The better I drive, the more the rear wears because I'm getting on the power early.... I think.

After 13 track days running Ferodo DS 1.11, I have 55% left on LF, 82% left on LR, 55% left on RF, and 82% left on RR. I'm going to run the fronts on my next 2 day event although I'll have a spare set with me. On the best time thread, I'm in top 3 on the 3 tracks I've run with the GT4.

Yeah my first set of ds1.11 on the gt3 lasted 12 days before I replaced. I'm not sure why they haven't lasted as long lately. The rear pads last much longer.

I have about 20 days on the ap rotors on the GT3 and GT4 and they still look good. I'm still predicting 40 days or more. Who needs pccb? Amazing.

Anyone going to thill next Friday?
