Martin said he has BBS 19x11 ET50 with a 5mm spacer and it works for him. See post 38.
No problem on the fit with the 285 tire on the 19x11 rear wheels.

I put 11 HCs on the tires and looks like I have more than 50% tread left. These tires might last around 25 HCs for me (which is a lot for me).

Yes, you need extended length bolts for the spacers. Porsche 5mm spacer kit includes them.

why no interest in Hoosier?

Because I drive the car to the track and don't have anywhere to put an extra set of wheels/tires. Plus I'm fast enough with the RE-71Rs.

Isn't the consensus that running Hoosiers could lead to trouble with warranty repairs related to the motor? Hoosiers seem like a grey area. I don't have my owners manual yet, but my understanding is that "slicks" are disallowed. So is a Hoosier R7 a "slick."

Surprising that this tire is in same league as others r R-comps like Sport Cup 2, Sport Maxx Race, etc. I guess long term it's cheaper to buy a set of 19's specifically for these tires.

Edit: Just learned these tires will be coming out in OEM sizes. Let's see if they screw us on the price.

245/35R20 - 3/1
295/30R20 - 8/1

You could maybe get away with running BFGoodrich Rivals in 265/35r20 and 285/30r20 in the meantime.

Makes sense. just saw that you were DE champion so wanted to make sure you were using every tool in the box to keep that status!

Don't think that I haven't thought about running R7s, but I want to give everyone else a chance. I was only 3 seconds slower than a 991 GT3 running R7s with my RE-71Rs.

-3.0 front and -2.6 rear...might have to go a little more to -3.2 and -2.8 to get more even tire wear.

Are there any 19's from another Porsche model that would bolt to the GT4 with proper widths and offsets to use these tires?

Where is this info from? Cause I don't see the 3/1 245s on tirerack. Didn't see any new release info and we are past 3/1 for the fronts already. Thanks!

Edit: just saw the fronts listed on the bridgestone website for available sizes. Woo-hoo fun times!
