BTW - cross posting this thread for those who might be interested in decals. Now is the time to jump if you are thinking about doing this at some point:

This is the official word from Michelin, and based on experience I'd say it's bang on.

Hrms.... tempted to put some PS Cup2's on my Macan for the track.
Just about finished off the OE PZero's after the last track session and 20,000Kms.
Original OEM Sizes were 265/45/R20 & 295/40/R20.

Given the sizes the PSC2's come in, would 265/35/R20 with 295/30/R20 still fit happily? Width would be the same just a slightly smaller diameter? Am I right??

Correct Rod.

Just be aware though that reducing your rolling OD will make your speedo out.

Will it effect the gearing?
Someone said it might stuff up the Sport settings when not using the manual paddles as it is PDK?

Wow, that's basically putting tires designed for the Cayman on the Macan. I'd carefully check the load ratings. Is also going to look a little weird. Speedo almost 9% out on the rears. Usual recommendation is no more than 3%. I'd say no.

Thanks for the calculations, 7+% is a bit too much of a difference.

The Macan is already matching times of the Cayman/Boxster's on the track
Cargraphics lowering module dropped it about 10mm which helps in the corners.

Back to the drawing board for new tires and brakes......

Hi .dee. I'll be there. I've not posted here before. Had the car since Sept but have hardly used it; a couple of drives and 500kms to run it in easily. Finally got the FIA paper work for the front section of the Porsche cage (which cost $9K!) and submitted the CAMS log book application. I'll do Burrows on Wednesday and I am doing Bathurst later in the month in the weekend regularity. I'm running a race car in the completion sprint on the Thurs and Fri. Mine is guards red. Hope to see you there.

Hi Warwick, is the porsche cage a bolt in cage or weld in, seems very expensive for a bolt in, i am getting a full bolt in cage done for targa and only just starting to get quotes hopefully next week

500k's since September you are doing good! mine's on 200 since August, just have not had the time to muck around with it.

its now at PR tech for a proper set up, i'm busy in the morning but will be there lunch time onwards...

it's bolt in and the carpets have cuts already in them to fit it. $9k was AUD and suspect about US$5k over there as PCA take a big lend of us. I wanted to have a full club sport spec car with the OEM cage as I intend to keep the car a lng time and it may add value in 10 year's time (probably won't of course). It is a full current FIA cage though and passes GT4 homolgation and looks plenty strong. I may never actually fit it.
