The only thing I kind of wish the GT4 had from the announcement was the new PCM that includes CarPlay, Google Earth, and apparently Google Street View. I figured we were missing the next-gen PCM by a year or two at the most, and it would have helped the car not get dated as quickly, but of course not even remotely a dealbreaker.

I was wondering about that, although I'm not sure I'd find it worth the cost to upgrade. I know Suncoast sells retrofits to add the generation of PCM to a car that didn't come with it from the factory, but have they ever sold a retrofit to add a newer-generation PCM to a car that would have come with an older one?

Ugh, just designed a 911 C2S as I'd like and it ended up being 120k. So glad to have a GT4 in my garage, oh and NA engine!!!

The important thing to remember from all this is the GT4 is still under development and won't begin to reach its potential for a few years yet. Just wait till Porsche engineers squeeze even more from that ordinary Carerra 3.8L NA F6. There will be plenty of suspension tweaks and some weight reduction too. Engineers love to tweak a product like the GT4, and the new Porsche mgmt won't deny their engineers any longer.

I got a Porsche newsletter in my email the other day (from PCA, or Panorama, or something) and one of the article headlines was something to the effect of "Porsche Confirms PDK GT4 soon. GT4RS not coming."
Instantly I was disappointed, as I don't want a PDK version of my unicorn being made. However, as I read the article with deflated enthusiasm, I started to get a sense the story sounded odd: 'Andreas Prueninger confirms PDK GT4 with interview conducted with Rennlist member' What?!?!
Matt, you've become the Adam Schefter of GT4 rumors!

Looks like AP also told Planet-9 the same news about PDK.

At least K-man the owner of Planet 9 locked the thread and turned the text in the original post to blacked out "spoiler" setting, but it was too late, the rumor had already become "news"
