GT Silver looks beautiful - I would like to see a direct comparsion to rodium
I won't be able to share my rhodium pictures for at least 45 more days; but I will. Hope I didn't get it wrong; you know ordering from a website is rather vague. I predict it will be lighter in color by 25% IMO. And there will probably be some contrast with the Platinum Wheels. I also did a bunch of visual cues like red intakes and red light cleaners and the fancy tail-lights - which some people think looks "rice-cooker" or something, but I think it carries a white line nicely from the reverse lights into the taillight making it look integrated and artsy. Frankly I'm worried about the red accents but my S/A who is rather conservative thought it would look sporty. I really wanted something to signal the larger engine which is why I did it - these things are subjective.
Rhodium silver is much lighter than GT silver. Rhodium has a bluish hue to it as well. Both are really nice, it just depends what you like and if you care about paying the GT silver premium. Here is a pic I took on a cloudy day.

That's a good picture. I see the GT premium silver leaning towards grey (or smokey) and yes the cost seemed too much when rhodium was pretty close but lighter which I personally was looking for. For me rhodium is just plain silver you see on lot's of cars and I don't really feel it's a 700$ color; although, yes, there is some light blue in there and I like that aspect. Rhodium should be a standard color IMO.

Photo is taken Nant Gwynant Valley in North Wales during a 250 mile thrash around epic back roads yesterday.
I swapped my 991 GT3 for the Spyder as whilst the GT3 was a weapon on track it really wasn't much fun on the road. (Photo earlier in thread).
I've owned some great cars but I'd say the Boxster is the most entertaining so far.
The handling is superb - the car feels much lighter than 1300kg and coupled with similar torque figures to the GT3 it just flies, even keeping revs below 6k to bed the engine in gently.
The noise is splendid and the gearbox a joy - quality of fit and finish better than 911.
Roof noise is fine upto circa 100 mph and then would be intrusive on a longer trip at high speed.
Feel free to ask questions on specifics I've not covered. I'm on 600 miles of back roads after two days and can't wait to get back in.
I think you are all going to be grinning from ear to ear when yours arrive. In my view the best sports car in the world (though not the best supercar)
