He's also a very gracious parking lot attendant as demonstrated at the PCA dinner last June in Carmel.
Back to topic I'll wait for the PDK version since I can use any 10ths or even 1,000ths of a second for AX. Yes PDK is strange at first but after a while it becomes second nature.
So now I'll have stories to tell my kids that back in the day I used to heal and toe while racing. Heck that sounds like my great grandfather telling me how he used to crank start his car back in the day.

+1 on Eduardo's post!
All the dealer BS about limited production is sales strategy. And I don't blame them. I would have done the same. Think about the opposite. Just come in and buy when ever you want. We have a ton of gt4s sitting in the lot!
And the question about collectibility. The Gt4 will be a good car to own and drive but won't make you any money during its first twenty years. My good friend in Sweden that helps me to find cars just had a 996gt3MK1 sitting for 2 years with 1000miles on it and was asking less than MSRP! Just to give you an idea.
Eduardo, you are a great asset to this forum. Moderators, would it be possible to subscribe to specific users? Not only threads?

A new (to me) tech sheet has appeared on the press site, copy attached.
It confirms that the angle of the wing is adjustable with shims, same was was the case with my street 996 GT3, and that there is even some (track only) adjustment to downforce on the FRONT axle. Confirms also that PSM can be turned off completely! Lists gear ratios (will someone compare with the GTS, please) and shows a 0-60 MPH time of 4.2s. The downshift blipper can be turned off and the exhaust has two loudness settings. The LSD "locking effect is 22 per cent in traction and 27 per cent in thrust."
Suspension:
Front axle: strut suspension (MacPherson type, Porsche optimised); independent wheel suspension with lateral and longitudinal links and struts; cylindrical coil springs with internal dampers.
Rear axle: independent wheel suspension with lateral and longitudinal control arms (MacPherson type, optimised to Porsche requirements); cylindrical coil springs with coaxial internal dampers; anti-roll bar.
Gear ratios
1st gear 3.31
2nd gear 1.95
3rd gear 1.41
4th gear 1.13
5th gear 0.95
6th gear 0.81
Reverse gear 3.00
Final drive ratio 3.89
Clutch diameter 240 mm

As in all GT sports cars from Porsche, the PASM is tuned with special upside-down dampers based on those used in motorsport. The “Normal" setting is adapted to the course profile of the North Loop of the Nürburgring, while the “Sport" setting is for modern circuit race courses.

Man, that blue/black photoshop looks great.
I keep going back and forth on white vs sapphire vs agate.
Porsche if you are listening - please make the configurator look like this. If us peons with photoshop can do it, clearly you can do i (better). Every color mock `looks horrible on the configurator.

We are all worried about the paint color and the Porsche Config program
We're never even going to buy this car !!!

Sport Chrono is a desirable option with other models because it makes the car sportier to drive (more dramatic throttle response, etc.). Since the GT4 has all that "baked in" from the start, the upgrade only nets you a clock (and the unspeakable lap timer software). Not worth it - any savvy buyer in the future will know the difference.

Your dealer really needs to read about the car he is selling. You'll have to educate him on how SC is nothing but a clock and worthless timer on the GT models.
