Listen to the youtube video of a 981 GT4 with Dundon Headers. The overrun sounds almost similar to this.

It also sounds like a 991.2 Carrera motor but is definitely not stock 981 GT4. I guess we'll know for sure next month when Whoopsy sees first hand what to expect.

Listen to this one.
718 Spyder mule sounds like a muted turbo 6 howl.
The chase car is clearly a flat four Cayman.

Is it just me, or are the test drivers being very delicate with the throttle where people are likely to be recording? 😂

100%. It's really hard to conclude anything with certainty because of this. They aren't pushing it and it's super questionable because they are keeping RPMs low (3-4k max). In some clips, it might sound muffled in others, it sounds unmuffled. The original one that started all of this sounds muffled right up until the blip on the downshift. The latest clip of the 718 coming through first makes the Spyder sound NA because the howl doesn't sound muffled as it's pulling away. Edit: compared to something like this which doesn't have the howl and is really pushing it.

Enough clubsport racers seem to think the GT4 is NA and all of this stuff just seems like a red herring to me. Besides, why haven't we seen an actual GT4 mule since the parked one? Surely, Porsche would be testing it at some point too.

These videos are inconclusive, you're kidding yourself if you think they answer anything.

these specifics videos might be, but that specific car had been video’d multiple times now. So if you start adding these events up, I wouldn’t be out of my comfort zone to say that specific car is indeed turbo’d. A rennlist member at the track while on his euro delivery stated that car sounds turbo’d in another thread. The photographer of those photos and video posted today states he thinks the car Is tubo’d. The video from two months ago of that specific car on the highway sounded turbo’d. Interior photos of that specific car, shows a tach that only goes to 8k. That’s the second set of photos showing the 8k tach on that specific car. Does this mean Porsche plans on going into production with a turbo’d spyder? Who knows... but that specific car is turbo’d in my eyes and ears.
