Better than a blown GT3 engine! You can always upgrade to GT Gears LSD and gears.......

Agreed. That was what I thought as well after listening to it. I think it's NA because of the bark during downshift in that video.

If PDK becomes an option next year and not at the time of launch, does this mean they will give out more allocations when the option becomes available?

I know there’s people with Porsche contacts and get info here, has there been any word on the rumored GT4 RS from them? Or is it all still just a cold rumor?

Riddle me this... Its fall there in the video right?.. Loads of leafs seen in the grill in one shot (45 second). Could that video be recent over there, yes/no? Lots of color in the trees at 2 min.

No one really know but for the 981 GT4 they increase the production after a few months to gauge product results.......probably this time they will go with more allocations from the get go.
I'm Ok with either transmission but if PDK is an option will consider it for change.

Thanks for the video,
Though that video might be filmed in the fall with the foliage and the leaves stuck in the front spoiler.

This was filmed in October 2018! Just take a look back at the fella’s YouTube channel - he posted pretty much the same video over six months ago! Same car, same autumn foliage, same footage.

I cant imagine that we are the only two that caught on to that.

The 781 GT4 will have a revised engine with grey iron plasma deposition cylinder walls plus adjustable exhaust cams, and repositioned higher pressure small format injectors that are located very close to the spark plug, all for lower friction, better combustion and lower pre-cat soot particle levels. Other than that, no idea.

I believe the 'old' 3.8 unmodified save for intake, exhaust and tune requires the above + other features to meet current and future emissions standards. As the 781 engine design was not finalised in time for the 2019 the season, they went with a 981 power upgrade and kept it simple.

In the time since I've put a deposit on this car (well, a Spyder), I've sold my 981CS, spent six months regretting it, found a 987 Spyder, and now I'm thinking I might hold on to the 987 instead.

At my dealer yesterday (Newport Beach - getting new tranny)... popped into the GM's office... he said he would be surprised if the GT4 is revealed before the end of the year...
