Just want to throw this in to the mix since many always suggest it is the new particulate filter that muffles the GT4 sound. In contrast the 992 GT3 does sound A LOT more like a N/A engine still, and I would assume it has the same filter, no?

Also Spyder PDK with OPF sounds great in this video:

I live in EU but honestly I don't care too much to OPF, if will be a problem I'm sure that a good muffler can fix the sound (anyway I'm pretty sure that Porsche won't disappoint GT4 customers).

I agree wholeheartedly! Had my downpayment placed for over a year (voluntary, as I did not want to take any chances missing out this time around!). But I'm ready to buy now! The extra wait just means some extra cash put aside. Lava orange for me! Happy Friday to you too!

It sounds a lot different to me. It does sound NA, but not quite the normal high pitch screamer. The sound coming out of the GT4 still could be a myriad of powerplants with GPF.

my wife found it on google, she can't stand me anymore I only talk about gt4, she can't wait for the car to debut so maybe I'll stop talking about it all the time

The driver has racing seats, usually they use it when they are looking for Nordschleife best lap.
Same car was spotted 4 weeks ago near the 'Ring:

I like it: https://www.carscoops.com/2019/05/ne...rts-car-world/

Check out the air ducts in front of the front wheels.

I like these wheels a lot better than some others I've seen, too.

Another amazing car from Porsche. In PDK, it'll be awesome on track.

That's a great looking car - love the new wing as I often feel that my wing is a bit small.

I prefer the rear badging on the old car but otherwise, while theyre extremely similar, new car looks better to my eyes

I think that the delay is because the new car destroyed the GT3s ring time due to it being stuffed with turbos theyre headed back to the drawing board because that's totally unacceptable, obviously. Its too good!

As for looks with the new race car...there are bits I like a lot and better than the last GT4 but the overall package I prefer the last gen's looks

Ya that thing is hideous. The old one was poor looking and hasn’t aged well in my opinion.

To me the roof line of the 911’s are what makes these cars gorgeous. The convertibles and hunchbacks of the speedsters aren’t for me.

Same here, the roofline is what makes these car look so good. Not a fan of the convertibles & speedsters either

I think that confirms that you are going to see the new filters stateside and that it will be NA. I am guessing an un-neutered 3.8L since the 2016 Carrera S originally put out 420hp. I'll concede no snails will be found according to what's in the article.

Don’t get me wrong. It would be a treat to drive and there are TONS of nice details on that car but the overall package and look just isn’t for me.

Understood. I just found it odd that people use extreme adjectives to describe a car they dislike and have probably never even seen in person. I intended to trade my GT4 in on a 718 Spyder but have instead decided to keep the GT4 and add the Speedster to the collection as my lone convertible (I’m generally not an open top kind of guy).

Agree with the comments that 911’s look better with a roof but wanted to add something different and special, as well as fill the aforementioned void.

I’m wondering how much the sports exhaust button changes the sound on the new model. That could explain the variations in sound we hear on the different videos.
