Camo? The car photographed has the same front and rear treatment as the 718, except for the bumpers, which are very likely to be exactly like the ones on the car. So we know what they are and they are very different than the 981. Devils in the details but the 718, in my opinion, lost the curvy organic look of the 981 in exchange for the smoother more angular look of a modern Japanese sports car. Look like a Cayman if it was built by Infinity. The front is awful.

If it was 7700, it would be a step down from the current car. You did mention on the other forum that the RS will scream it's way to 9K. Surely, you can tell us what the reline on the GT4 is going to be.
It only has a 7700 rpm redline because it's a bespoke turbocharged engine, lol!

Need to check my tach when I get home tonight.....maybe I got a dud car as I think mine only goes to 7600 before it hits redline. Does everyone else’s go over 7700?

All these riddles (which I completely appreciate the necessity of). From my basic understanding of what I read above on the GT4 (lets assume the GT4RS is outside of my price range), we are expecting an 8k max redline, possible turbo engine? I only want the new gt4 if its a NA higher revving engine, or at least decently higher than I already drive. Honestly, power doesnt mean much to me, I just want a high revenue NA manual to keep for 20 years. If I am reading this thread right, the next gt4 doesnt sound like the car for me. Am i reading this right? If so, who wants my #1 spot for an Illinois dealership?

It is 7600. I was just saying 7700 is almost not an improvement.

7700 rpm sounds like the turbo 3.O from the S redline. Hopefully not.

I believe the max revs of the 981 GT4 is 7,800 - the tach may not reflect this very well (red appears at 7,600)...

Think the tach indicates redline @ 7600 but actual redline is 7800 in the current GT4....

Tach starts at 7600. Actual fuel cutoff/rev limit is 7800. So with that in mind, 7700 for start and 7900 for fuel cutoff/actual limit?

Carrera has a 7500 RPM red line. The turbo ship has sailed.

If the new redline is either 7,700 or 7,900 rpm, you can forget about any gearing improvement with the Manual...
