The regular GT4 falls under the same rules. This has been addressed on RL already.

AFAIK, B6T will not fit.

Based on some new inside information, here's my new expectation - Turbo and PDK.

I'm already looking for a part number for that distributor but it doesn't seem to be up yet.

I have a photo of that engine in the old museum from an 83 euro delivery.

Yup, still sounds NA, but still sounds awful IMO. Needs more wail and less fart.

Here's a picture I took of it in a 917 at Rennsport Reunion II or III (Daytona, 2007, can't remember which RR that was.) It was static -- not sure if the car still runs or not.

thx for info.
u know your stuff i guess.

i´m stubborn.
B4T or B6T

i stuck with it B4T.

because B6T is not possible in terms of space/packaging what some guys (and Chris (this makes me thinking...)) say. if they want they are able to fit a B6T i guess.
and why B6T if all the boxter line up is B4T. they struggle to sell the boxter/cayman range. so why more gasoline in the fire with a top end B6 even N/A model?
a B4T will be lighter, cheaper and all good for the needed hp. it could get even some advantages in some rare raceclasses based on the smaller displacment...
or does the BoP prefer a bit N/A engines?

as said stubborn. 16V !

There will be no RS. The 718 GT4 is the tail end of the 718 production.

The 2021 GT4 could be turbo however.... i also suspect we will see a 992 hybrid carrera and 992 Cup car will have ABS as standard equipment.

I agree with you. I was team turbo on those first videos. But the engine now sounds on those videos sounds like a modified 4.0 at around 7k rpm or so.

I'm hoping everyone hates the car so I can get pts haha. Not sure I have the stomach for the pts price though. We shall see. The car will have to be rather special to get me to ditch my gt4

This is where the speculation should end. This is an good as we’re going to get without a press release form Porsche or pictures of the engine bay. Now if we can just fit you with a button spy cam on your trip to Weissach....
