They already know I will ask the tough questions, but with launch date so close, I don't think they would mind.

But even then, the only questions will be is it the GT3 engine or one from derived form the old GT4, and whether the gearbox is a 6 speed from the GT3 or another neutered 6 speed.

Maybe what's the redline, and how much it will weight, in race trim. And if they make it quick enough, I could enter the new car into races.

They know I have the GT4CS, so asking the motorsport questions are normal, especially when I Have a few trump cards in hand. so they cannot quite gag me much.

These cars are built to different class regulations - GT3 and GT4. A Bentley Continental GT3 being faster than a Porsche Cayman GT4 isn't embarrassing at all, GT4 is supposed to be slower than GT3 and they're not competing.

I think another question for some will be if the street version will have a PDK option or not this time around.

Don’t understand why people want a pdk in the GT4. I’ve nothing against the pdk, it’s brilliant but I thought the purpose of the GT4 was to be a more involving drivers car rather than out and out laptime monster.

Porsche said they will be making a split between all out performance cars (pdk) and drivers cars (manual).

I thought that the GT4 was Porsche’s answer to there being no manual option on the 991 GT3.1

This guys has it right...

Yeah, those are precisely the things we want to know. Engine, transmission and redline.

If possible also price and possible launch date.
