Just got off, we fell into 9th position, I had a little incident, an HPD hit me in the back in turn one. Now Chris is driving but also had an incident, so, back in 10th. We can no go lower in theory, the one after that is more than 40 laps behind. I'll be back before 2am.

Still in it. Our driver after Phil, in his first stint, had a brain-fart and tagged the wall 10 laps in, bent the car up (doh!). We took the fix, car drives OK in that it's stable and handles well - it's just slow. We leech the draft every chance we get.

Justin's in the car now, will be there until ~3am central.

I get back in at 5am to bring it home. Still in P10. Fingers crossed. Not sure we'll catch P9, big team from Japan and they're all pretty good.

Bummer about the motor, Burkey.

2-4 Shift checking in, Did my two tanks of fuel and incident free Very happy about that. We didn't move from 11th place but we are gaining on 10th which is slowing down.

Chris is in the car now for the next 2 hours then Al will bring her home.

I just finished my last stint at 2am my time. No incidents again, but the car is so slow in a straight line now. We made it up to 8th with 7th in range, but Team Japan is closing up from behind.

I think I have a pile of off track incidents for taking a bit of dirt at the bus stop, but overall I'm very happy that I didn't put a scratch on the car and hammered out 192 laps at a pretty strong pace. I'm sure my safety rating is going up big time from all those laps.

I need a shower.

Other than that - GREAT RACE. Damn that was a ton of fun. A little bummed about the miscalculated fuel at the end there (cost us 8th) but still pretty damned happy with 9th in class (16th overall, 41 teams in our split, 10 splits, we were in the 2nd split). Great job Justin, Phil, and Keith.

I managed 257 laps. 9 inc points... 3 were "oops" - a spin in the bus stop when a LMP went 3 wide and I lost where the other GT was. And a minor off-track in the Int'l Horseshoe when I blew my braking marker. Rest were mostly putting a tire off through the bus stop. Pretty happy with that.

Who's down for the 12H of Sebring?

Needless to say, after the last 24 hours PLUS being under a blizzard warning here in Chicago for this afternoon through tonight... I'm probably going to miss practice tonight. Should see everybody on Wednesday though.

Great job guys! I'm really proud of us for finishing that. I joke with people that we're playing a video game for 24 hours, but people that know, know how much more it is than that. Lets hope next year we'll have a dynamic track and weather/lighting for the race.

We were never going to compete with our split based on pace, but with nice consistent driving, we managed to finish very well. We actually almost caught the inside sim racing team at the end too, they must have had a big wreck.

Totally agree the level of concentration for a two hour stint is pretty high. We ended up finishing 11th which is not to bad, remember Days of Thunder when Tom Crusie finishes a race and one of the guys says look there is still one panel not damaged and the crew chief kicks the **** out of the door. I think our panel was our roof But the 3 of us worked great together looking forward to running again, definitely need a fourth guy. Thx Stephane and Chris
