I noticed after the session that the temperature was 67 degrees, that explains why the track was so fast and to point, easy!

Too bad I missed practice. We have been turning up the heat in the house hunt here inside the beltway. Went to look at a particularly interesting crack den just north of my office in Georgetown, DC. Had a really crack dennish basement with a shower door that opened directly into the hallway, all for about $800k!

But, the upside is that no matter what I buy, I will have room for a three screen setup! It will probably be in the basement though ;(

Everyone was 1:45 to 1:46. If I can get the bounce down a little at the oval entrance I can do better, I was the slowest.

As Jack said everyone was in the 1.45s & 1.46's but Justin did pull a 1.44.9 out.

If you can run with the pack until the oval, you'll catch up in the draft. I think this will be another draft lock race and the only way to go wrong is to get dropped by the pack.

Seems like getting up at 5a and spending the entire day running an autocross really wears me out. I could not get a handle on the car for the last few minutes of practice I was able to join last night. I did cut a single lap in the 45's but couldn't put more than a few together without oversteering and spinning.

Hopefully things will be better on Weds.

I've never been so close to the front runners! I did a 1:47:4, which is 2.5 secs behind Justin which truly satisfies me!!! Maybe someday I'll be good!!!

I won't be able to do the race on Wednesday as I'm going to see City and Colour at the Montreal Bell Centre.

Bad race for me, early contact with Andrew and late contact with Ted though we ran pretty close for awhile and with Edmund. Hopefully next week I'll be cleaner, sorry about that.

NY991, I reviewed the replay and I definitely should not have hit you... I think when you changed trajectories in the turn, I was expecting you to carry more speed and I didn't see brake lights so I stayed on it. Sorry about that.

I think I need to devote more time to this, work hasn't really let me but I really don't like this off the pace/demo derby stuff and that's how I've been running lately. Felt uncomfortable in the car all night.

I'll send the replay to Jim for his expert editing and camera angles. I think everyone learned something tonight, from when to fill the car with gas to when to fight with each other so I can break the draft. Andrew seems to only join us for the Rovals and then manages to get early contact every time. That looked like an avoidable contact to me.
