I think I'm going to pack up my computer, pedals, and Rift and bring it with me to Cali. I'll have a week to myself in a hotel room in LA, then a week in Monterey for Parade.

 

Well, I ran into the back of Stephane on lap two or so. He braked a little harder than I thought he would going into T9, and I just rammed him. Sorry about that Stephane.

I don't think anyone of us wasn't involved in some incident last night. It was pretty slick out there.

 

I thought it was a blast. That rear hit I got had me drop but the car was fine and I moved back up a bit thanks to other incidents. I just couldnt find a setup I liked and had nothing for Justin again. I was able to run a ton of consistent laps with Stephane pressuring me. I felt like an F1 racer trying to manage a 1 second gap.

 

Anyone doing a video? I can but I need to figure out how to convert into YouTube vid.

 

If you can send me the .rpy file I can do the conversion. I've got software that happily records the replay to video with full detail at 30fps.

That's ok, mostly my fault, I missed the two previous turns and my line was all screwed up. Still finished 3rd so very happy about that. It was like the parting of the seas, everyone was crashing left and right and every time I escaped the wrecks, I'm winning by attrition

 

That was super fun and intense ! I just couldn't catch you, for something like 15 laps I was between .5 and 1.5 seconds behind. No idea what else happened on the track, I don't think we saw anyone else until the very end !

 

Probably easiest to just create a Dropbox account, upload it there, then send me the link. The .rpy files tend to be huge.

 

I saved a .rpy file too that I can send you the usual way.
