My question is how do you guys that have mics not pic up all the background noise? I have a mic, it just sounds like im talking through a garbage disposal. I like my typing like my driving. Fast with tons of mistakes

I use a 5.1 headset so I doubt you hear much except maybe shifting over my mic.

I also use a headset, the problem arise when the sound comes out of the speakers, then the mic picks up the surounding sounds and it doesn't work.

I can switch between the headset or the speakers depending if I need the mic or not.

I'm sure my audio has a lot of BG noise.

I used to use a 5.1 headset but the big magnets caused drifting issues with my Rift. Had to switch back to the external setup.

I have a cheap usb single ear headset and then a 5.1 surround speaker system. I guess it seems to work as you guys don't seem to complain :-) I have tired a bluetooth headset but some said they could hear background noise so I went backed to the wired cheap one.

I have always been able to run Iracing fine on my setup. I am having an issue where I start with 125 fps and then drop after I start running to 18 fps and loose the sound. Any ideas?

What's your setup, settings, and what track and conditions are you seeing the drop?

Justin, thanks for the setup, this is the first I'm been able actually drive one of your setups :-)
Corner one is a little hairy but the everything else is pretty good.
