Burning Brakes
Great to hear from you!!! Anything P car related is fun (except for the service bill I just paid!). Here is a quick update on my cars:
Couple (mostly for track): Was in the shop all winter for (Rebuild LSD, Rear Bearings, Clutch, DMFW, Stiffer springs for Ohlins, Corner Balance). First track day is with 3Balls at Grattan in May. Can't wait for this track season!
Cabriolet: Will pick up on Friday (getting SOUL headers and X-pipes, Fabspeed Mufflers). Hoping to take a mid April trip to Hocking Hills, Ohio (my fav spot)
I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!

I just got my car lift installed a few weeks ago, engine is coming out, replacing the water pump / thermostat, pinning the hoses, changing out all the old hoses as they are old etc. Doing K24 billet turbos upgrade, bigger injectors, meth injection, intercooler piping, new tune obviously. Also putting on Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, short shifter, 964RS engine mounts, rebuilding clutch cylinder that is leaking ,Sachs 2.5 clutch / pressure plate.
I have more boxes of stuff that i dont recall lol.

Nice!! I wont make it to any track events this year with the porsche but i might try some with the vette. the porsche as usual has been on hold as i build the new man cave at the house we moved into.

Not sure if anyone is interested but a bunch of us are going to the 1/2 mile drag event down in IN again this year, well i was supposed to go last year but my water pump started leaking 2 days before the event and i couldnt source one before hand so i didnt risk it. A few of my friends went and loved it so we are going again this year Indy Airstrip Attack – Airstrip Attack

Gonna go to the May 22-23(Saturday) Grattan track day with mid night protective films.
I want to do more of these this year.. so fun.
wont be using the Porsche this time(new toy) but hoping to use the Porsche towards the end of summer when its all done.

Hey guys.. and girls.. anyway. So the 22nd event going on at Grattan for midnight protective films I'm going to. I think I have an extra free entry. My friend is having issues with his car and already bought the ticket and might not be able to go. if he cant get a refund for the ticket its up for grabs if anyone is interested.

I'm thinking of having my engine fan and shroud powder coated. Has anyone here had this done and can you give me a recommedation for a shop in the greater SE Mich area. I'm in Ypsi but I don't mind driving to get it in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing with magnesium. Thanks!
