it's not been my experience that there is ANY power drawn by the charger outside the main charging cycle - once the big battery is full - the charger goes into "idle" mode - and due to my settings via the built web administration portal - it shuts off and never "wakes up" again until I unplug and replug in the charging cable from the vehicle - it behaves this way with my 2020 Taycan Turbo and my 2021 Cayenne TurboS eHybrid
I'd love any information you could reference discussing "trickle" charging -because my data power logs do not show any such behavior.

Sadly not true. Our MY22 TSEH exhibits the same behaviors others reported with intermittent CELs. The dealer replaced the onboard charger a few months ago and we still get an occasional CEL.

Are there any owners with the CEL and/or 12-volt problem who have the 3.6-kW onboard charger *and* who charge only at 120 volts? It seems to me from reading all this that people with these problems mostly (all?) have the 7.2-kW onboard charger *and* charge at 240 volts... Somebody previously suggested that there might be something related to that (at least for the CEL issue).

I have personally had the issue occur when charging at 120V - so 120V or 240V makes no difference in my case…

I really feel for you guys and also hope Porsche truly is making it worth it for you guys. I love the Cayenne and (my previous CGTS 4.0) but their service and Porsche corporates own attitudes towards helping fix certain things has really soured my experience and leaves much to be desired.
