Just in time for my 2013 GTS. Local dealership hadn't heard of this extension and looked it up... sure enough they are fixing for free.

with the recent warranty extension, are people still changing the oil? I'm on my third TC and it started to feel sluggish. The oil was changed last December. I am getting a recall done and will have them take a test drive around to see if it is something they are willing to replace.

Question. Does anyone know if Porsche fixed the issue on newer models?

I have no idea but I was wondering if anybody did. Alibaba is like Chinese eBay where you can buy parts for our Chinese vehicles.

Angry is putting it mildly. I’ve been trying to be a good boy and not say nothing. If I were you, I would be beyond. This is ridiculous. What good is the replacement if it’s the same problem. My Cayennes been just sitting. I’ve been driving my wife’s GL 450 which has been out performing the Cayenne In every way shape form. I’m not yanked around the cabin every time I accelerate. I have no hope they’re going to fix this as this has been dragging on year after year. I am waiting for the right time to dump my car. I am not loyal to unreliability. Where is all this great Porsche engineering? No Mas.

Basically they are saying if you get 7 years (or 10) out of the transfer case then you got your moneys worth. So don’t complain. Nice, when they still don’t know what the problem is or if its fixed.

Garbage. Hard to believe they can’t fix this. They won’t. They are doing the bare minimum, fine but they lost me.

95k here, first fluid change wasn't until 85k, still on the original TC and have yet to experience any signs of failure.
