I have a 2011 Cayenne S.
Can someone please post a link for the one I should buy to properly diagnose my car's check engine lights.

Looking for a tool for use with my new to me 981 Cayman. Wondering if this tool display an overrev report with ranges similar to the Durametric?

Don't know since I haven't hooked mine up to a car that records the rev-stages. If you want to drive to NJ with it - we could find out.

no. Doesn’t show over revs unforntunately. It does just about everything else though. Foxwell makes one that shows over revs and I’ll probably buy that as an addition to the icarscan.

Thanks for the response. It's looking like I'll need two tools to do everything I want.

Has anyone had any problems with this changing to a different phone? Just got mine, and will be updating my phone here in a few months...want to make sure it is not locked to one phone (for some reason I feel like I read this at one point)

No - not locked to one phone. Locked to one user though (it's locked to your username/password.) I have the software installed on my phone and on an old Android Verizon tablet. Works fine.

I installed on an ipad. When first attempted the app didn't show up. Then I switched options to include iphone apps and the app showed up. Installed on an ipad and works like a charm.
The software will not allow you to fully install without selecting all your 10 options at once. I guess they changed that from before as other comments said you could.
Kinda hate that it does that as I would prefer the option to select based on cars I want later on.
As for the programming the Xenon light ballast that is a no go. I got a used ballast and there is always an error when attempting to communicate with it.
I was able to communicate with my old ballast in place and this thing just shows how much data the car is putting out. WOAH!!!.
I could actually see that the faulty ballast was working and communicating, but was having one fault with voltage on one circuit/pin which was showing 0 instead of 13V like the other side.
I am pretty impressed with it, have already used it to troubleshoot a Mercedes, and a TPMS light on a buddy's Toyota which isolated it to the one sensor.
I'll keep playing around with it, as I can access historical codes which can help track intermittent issues

That's on your Cayenne? I, unfortunately, have no real experience with it on a 955/957 since I didn't own it when I owned a 955.. The Durametric did seem to work OK with the 955 (something that can't always be said with the Durametric and a 958..)

If it's not one thing.. anyway I own both.

^^^Yes, it's for the 955.^^
I liked the tool for doing transmission full and reset, but was disappointed it's not reading all the systems.

You will need the Durametric Pro (not Enthusiast) to do the air bag system.

Darn. I was led to believe the airbag could be done with the enthusiast version. Are you sure?

From: http://www.durametric.com/differances.aspx

Beginning with Durametric version 6, Durametric supports the Coding and Command Console features. These features are included with the Professional kits only.
  • The Coding feature provides for the ability to enable or disable predefined features in the car such as airbags, daytime running lights, cruise control, and the rear spoiler where applicable.
The Command Console feature is a means of communicating with the control units using very low-level communications. This feature is very seldom used.
