learn the corners before you push it, and remember the grab handles, it will go round the corner may you will not

 

If you misjudge a corner and hit the curb, you can't blame the vehicle. Sorry. Just be grateful, because had you misjudged that corner in the Boxster, you'd probably have more to worry about than just a wheel.

As for choosing...? We are fortunate and were able to choose both.

I beg to differ. The Macan is the Boxster of SUVs. The Cayenne... well, I'm not sure how I'd compare it to any sports car, but it is an amazing SUV and does handle better than any other I've driven (and I've driven a lot of SUVs!).

Really, I wouldn't compare either of the two to a sports car, but the Macan is definitely much closer, given its lower stance and lower weight. And for that reason, I don't get the CTT. Making it a Turbo isn't going to change the laws of physics, as was noted.

 

First the cayenne handles great for a suv. Second if you turn the corner like that in a boxster too many times you just might clip a wheel on it. It probably the longer wheel base the caught the wheel. Also you do realize you can pay a wheel repair guy to fix that wheel for about 75-150 a wheel. Also you could see if your dealer offers tire and wheel insurance. But I'll tell you they won't replace the wheel unless it's not repairable.

My wife owned a 2000 Boxter. It was an outstanding roadster but could not haul plywood or landscaping material.
Obviously the 2 are designed for different purposes.

 

One time, I tripped on an untied shoelace and fell. If I'd have been wearing loafers, it never would have happened.

Lousy stinkin' lace-up shoes!

I once wore shoes with laces. Yesterday, I was wearing the loafers I bought six weeks ago - and I walked right out into traffic and got hit by a car! If these damn loafers were any good, they'd have laces, and I would have tripped over them and never would have made it to the crosswalk.

For the record, this is the only "lace" conversation I ever want to have with Cuda.

 

You just weren't doing it right then. Back when the 986s were still new we saw one at Home Depot getting a bunch of 2x4s and a couple of sheets of plywood strapped to it. Top down even!

So glad we were just getting there and wouldn't leaving behind him...

 

My wife's 957 TT is also not a baja truck as I found out a couple of weeks ago...

Hmmm... agree with all those above, especially the one about the shoelaces.

I also noticed your post about 1/4 mile times... you are clearly missing the reason for owning a Porsche, grasshopper...
