As for choosing...? We are fortunate and were able to choose both.
Really, I wouldn't compare either of the two to a sports car, but the Macan is definitely much closer, given its lower stance and lower weight. And for that reason, I don't get the CTT. Making it a Turbo isn't going to change the laws of physics, as was noted.

First the cayenne handles great for a suv. Second if you turn the corner like that in a boxster too many times you just might clip a wheel on it. It probably the longer wheel base the caught the wheel. Also you do realize you can pay a wheel repair guy to fix that wheel for about 75-150 a wheel. Also you could see if your dealer offers tire and wheel insurance. But I'll tell you they won't replace the wheel unless it's not repairable.

Well there you go. Im sorry my quick metaphor isn't workin for ya.

Please
Why would you blame obvious driver error on the vehicle dynamics?
If you thought it would handle like a boxster then I have bridge in Boston that's for sale, maybe I could interest you in some real estate?

So...you ran into the curb and it's the car's fault?
That's awesome.
"Dang, I sure wish my new SUV understeered as badly as my last car...if I could have just pushed through that corner instead of actually turning, I would have missed the median entirely."
OP, you're my new hero.

I once wore shoes with laces. Yesterday, I was wearing the loafers I bought six weeks ago - and I walked right out into traffic and got hit by a car! If these damn loafers were any good, they'd have laces, and I would have tripped over them and never would have made it to the crosswalk.
For the record, this is the only "lace" conversation I ever want to have with Cuda.

From your January post: "Absolutely love it. MUCH faster than the boxster and it would probably give it a close run for it's money on a track, handling is MUCH better than anyone would think a SUV could be."
Hmmm... agree with all those above, especially the one about the shoelaces.
I also noticed your post about 1/4 mile times... you are clearly missing the reason for owning a Porsche, grasshopper...
Glad it wasn't a 930 you were driving- they would be scraping you up with a spatula. Be safe and enjoy your Porsche!
Cheers,
TomF
