@tbill I would say you are on borrowed time with your original plastic coolant pipes. Our 04 Turbo pipes cracked at 105K, and they were very brittle by that point. The new and improved aluminum construction makes this kit a permanent solution. This kit includes everything you need, even new coolant.

I would highly recommend anyone doing the Coolant pipes to do the Plastic "T"s at the same time, stupid not too as you will definitely be pulling it apart again later if you don't.

2006-Base, original owner at 131k..........blew out the OEM warranty at 50 or 52k in 2007........no major issues.

Tranny solenoid and/or TCU valve need repair, slipping on hard accel in all instances now........hoping its 1200 or less, then onward to 250k.

You can buy the refurbed (and updated) valve body for like $800... and then its fluid, filter, seals, and time. If you DIY you can hit that $1200 mark I think.

Agreed as above. I stand corrected. My service records go all the way back to the original owner buying it in Tyson's Corner, VA. Every problem I've red about was warrantied. I will have to do the transfer case servomotor myself at some point. I did get that warning once.

Nice Miles Pops!
Ours just turned over 66,000 km yesterday.

Do you enjoy it now as much as when you first drove it home?

Why does Pop's fuel gauge strike me as being backwards?

I would imagine the compass is pretty handy in a place like NY. (and I'm not being sarcastic)

Hey Bill,
I think the fuel gauge reads the same as mine.
Did they change the dial for the '11?

Oh, and love you Thomas Jefferson quote LOL

Do you have a part number for this item? I just ordered the ECS coolant pipe kit and would like to order this part as well.

Thanks!
