Any errors because of passenger seat missing the weight sensor?

9971tt, PLEASE share how. There’s been a lot of us wishing to do this, but no one succeeded from what I can find. I tried to PM you but it didn’t allow it.

My kid is editing the videos and time lapse footage now. We should have a full youtube walkthrough soon.

Basically just like a 996 delete but we tore apart the clutch pack in the diff and hooked it back up. There are 2 different 2 wire plugs to the front diff, we mounted the temp sensor and the ring that goes around the clutch pack back into the car with both plugged in to keep electronics happy. I used the spindle ends from the disassembled cv axles and removed the rest of the axles, drive shaft, clutch and front diff. Just waiting on a part to fix one of the coolant leaks coming from rt side front cooler.

Wow! I've thought about doing this. Please update this thread with the YouTube link when it's done.

had a buddy code out the passenger AWS out and no dash codes are showing. There is one DTC for a short circuit to the passenger belt buckle bc the euro belt buckle that comes fixed to the seat doesn't have a sensor wire that runs to the wiring harness. I'm not concerned as it does not show a dash light. I may retro fit my OE passenger belt buckle and mount it under the seat and into the wiring harness with a male insert to get rid of that DTC. There are a few threads on how folks actually retrofit everything including a passenger weight sensor/belt buckle. Most seem to just code out like I did
