This car was at All Things Porsche. Has been in their inventory over a year. Last advertised price about a month ago was $900k. Heard they were asking 7 figures when they first took the car in.

PTS British Racing Green .2 RS with White Gold contrast. One of the best color combos on an RS I have ever seen. Too bad it’s in Italy.

OMG! This!!! Checks off everything on my 997 bucket list. How would you theoretically import from Italy or is that not even a consideration for US folks?

I’m pretty sure this doesn’t qualify for show and display. Not even 100% sure you could even bring it here in the first place. The most I think you could do is park it up and not drive it cause it can’t be registered (wait another 13 years for the car to be 25 years old) or spend a lot of money to make the car DOT compliant. If you’re in Canada you only have to wait 2 years before their 15 year rule applies.

Buy a house in Italy, buy the car, and keep it there!

Wow. This is just an amazing car. I still have some distant cousins over in Italy. Maybe I can convince them to watch over it for me for another 13 years till I can bring it to the US!

This may be a stupid question, but how do all the very low mileage cars (like the one above with only 200 miles) getting serviced? Trailer? On-site? Dealer just a few blocks away? I assume the owners still comply with all the scheduled maintenance regardless of mileage.

Tow or trailer if they have kept the scheduled maintenance.

The answer for this particular car is it doesn’t get serviced. The Carfax says it was serviced only once in its life in 2013, but the invoice for that indicates it was a performed recall. This is the only invoice shown with the car. So this leads me to believe that this car has never been serviced once in its life.
