The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
I have a bid out on one now… but man I’m a conservative bidder relatively speaking I think we all just tend to forget the fire we are playing with.

Is anyone else as blown away with the selling price of this car as I am? This seems like the deal of the century. Am I missing something? I know it has 31k miles but what else????... i see the carfax notes damage in 2013 but nothing about it? Seems about 75-100k lower then I'd expect it to fetch in these crazy times.

Amongst all these BaT cars it had all maintenance records / cam bolts / lsd / pinned lines etc all done

I thought the same until I looked at Wonderdan's comment about playing with fire--the implication being that there really isn't a shill bid because any bid relatively close to market price has risk-- the example set out to exemplify that risk being the dirt cheap RS at pre-pandemic pricing compared to today. At least that is how I viewed the comments and discussion
I apologize. I didn’t realize this listing was that old when I looked at it after it was posted here. I assumed with all the back and forth above about Bat bidding it was a resent auction/transaction. Clearly the selling price make a lot more sense now.

That was going to be my comment. You can sort on BaT by model year and then see the trends.
