Im calling BS on this auction. This car has been on ebay at least twice and could barely crack 80K, and on the opening day its at 85? Something stinks there.

$130K?!!!! for a 19K mile 997.1?
Seems hard to believe that this is a legitimate purchase.

3 weeks ago there was the 997.1 GT3 on BAT with 8k miles, PCCBs, full leather etc that sold for $110k. I would love to hear someone explain how this car is worth $20k more.

Absolutely baffling result.

I agree. Anyone with 10 min and an internet connection could find several 997.1 GT3s in better condition for far less money, not to mention all the 997.2 GT3s out there for <130K.

Selling my recently acquired Vesuvio Metallic GT3RS.
Greetings,
Here's a link to my recently acquired GT3RS. It is an absolutely gorgeous car, but I just need something nastier!

Yes really. Merit, and Switchcars, have either sold or currently have 997.1s in better condition than that car for less money.

I raised the red flag on that auction right after it opened. It could be real, but I still doubt both bidders were legit. The way it moved seemed fishy to me especially considering the hammer price.

You would think a bunch of owners would be happy with this result as it bodes well for the value of our cars, instead of calling the buyer or potential future buyers suckers, etc.

This thread is also full of people looking to buy cars or owners who seemingly aren't that wrapped up in the value of their toy(which is how it should be IMO)
