@idk_alex Are those the confirmed prices that toy barn paid? Or the values that you had agreed with Asset Seller? On the assumption that the rug got pulled out from under you by a higher offer?
Track Day
Congrats! But I am very certain this is a former press car if the VIN is indeed WP0AC2A99AS783460. The car has Press Finish on the build sheet which was only on the builds of the 4 PCNA press cars. There was a Meteor Grey press car, a Guards Red one, a Black one, and a Carrara White one which is VIN WP0AC2A99AS783460. The car at Jaguar West Houston has an identical build to the Carrara White GT3 press car shown in the videos below. Besides the press finish, there is only 1 car that has all these particular options and that is the Carrara White PCNA press car. But the car was almost certainly very well maintained when it was on the PCNA press fleet.
The VIN actually tells you it's a press car... 741 Press Finish... but doesn't really matter imo with that many miles. Just normal fundamentals, clutch, oil leaks etc, LSD, suspension wear etc. I expect the DME to show lots of Range 4's, and with some luck no 5's. Those seats are a bit worn... but I'd grab a pair of buckets anyway if you plan to track... which with those Rotors and Wheels I hope you do
Did you get a chance to sit in it... might rev it a bit and see if anyone has done any work to the flywheel (you could post a vid here and we could tell you)... in which case they probably did the clutch?
Congrats!
PS. PM me if you decide you don't want it!

Appreciate the clarification and heads up. It will be interesting to see how well she's kept up after all this time.
No chance to sit in it as I'm in CA. Had my cousin who lives down the street stop by and he said the car is shockingly clean. Interior is almost brand new, according to him. Prev owner had a bucket seat in there and just reinstalled the factory sofa last week which explains the "better than I thought it was oging to be" condition of the bolsters. I kept waiting for him to tell me something was royally botched but nope, clean! Would be pretty awesome if 4.0 clutch or a LTW flywheel of sort - I'll definitely have no clue if it has one as I'm still in a newb in the p-car world and look forward to posting in the general section of RL Equally interested to see if the coolant lines are pinned or welded.

Done and done. Sold to me Hoping PPI / DME pull tomorrow isn't a total disaster. Carfax shows as a 1-owner originally purchased in Katy, TX (where the car is now) and serviced there it's entire life. Sales guy I'm working with says the owner is a banker who used the car for the track and just traded it in for a 991.2 GT3. Are we sure this was a press car?

And that's where the problem lies. These cars are being inflated by greedy dealers. You guys, don't sell to dealers. You're messing up the market for the enthusiasts and even the current owners as they no longer want to drive their cars.
Impossible to do in broader scale. Over time, if the dealers are paying more they’ll win. You can’t expect people to leave money on the table. Sounds great in theory but doesn’t work in practice.

I don't think the dealers are necessarily paying more (anecdotally) but they're able to pay/ wire the asking price right away as most of us common folk (still privileged) need to work with our banks to send financed funds. The difference can be hours or couple days and the seller will take the past of least resistance which is totally understandable. There is hope as I see a few RLers who are offering their cars behind the scenes and I hope that works out for community buyers.
I’ve been transparent for months that mine will be on BAT before I hit 15k miles because I want a track machine. BAT has the potential for driving a higher number, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t accept a number from here. Most of us are reasonable… the question is how reasonable are the prices in general right now.
Everyone knows our cars have two factors driving them, dollar value is diminishing and the car is getting a cult following cause it’s badass.
I’m not trying to feed my family by trying to flip my car, I’m countering the risk that a high mileage highly molested one is essentially un-sellable in a downturn. It’s not Greed it’s common sense… what other asset has anyone owned this year that has kept par with the “real” economy. I’d have 4 of these if my wife would let me.

Private sellers need PPI, bank financing like mentioned above, and many more questions, rightfully so as for many of us this is the second largest purchase we'll make in our lives.
Or in my opinion sell to one of the dealers that will mark it up so they can stay in business, but do so in a reasonable fashion. I think we all know who these dealers are and I don't need to mention them for the 100th time.

Carrara White .2 RS with 25k miles. Literally a zero option car so a stripper spec. $133k original MSRP. Asking price is $230k.
Has a 5 lug conversion and a GMG roll bar with harnesses so if I had to guess this car has seen some track time. Also important to note is that this car had an engine replacement back in 2015 at 10k miles.

Allthingsporsches got another low mileage .2 with a pretty rare, although weird in my opinion, spec.
