The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

These kind of cars will hold the value. I have owned several limited production cars for free. The trick is not to buy new unless is one of those cars that are very limited and you would have to get on a waiting list if you are fortunate enough.

Yup I stand by my statement that yellow commands a 10-20k premium on the 997 GT3's. Someone would rather buy this higher mileage yellow one for 80k vs a lower mileage white or silver for 80k-85k.

Ended up putting in a bid, & already outbid. Good for the seller and those who currently own GT3's, but yikes. Crazy strong market/values.
What would a comparable normal mileage car w/o any damage history go for based upon this, gotta figure those facts are knocking off $20k off the value...

Here’s an example of a Speed Yellow .1. Yes it does have high range over revs, so that’s why It’s a bit less than market.

Also, to me 2007 vs 2008 means little regarding value. Yes there were way fewer 2008’s made but outside of collector status, the cars are the same.

I think there is a lot of truth to that. Colors are fads and they can hurt you as much as they can help you. What may bring a premium today for being PTS may warrant a discount in the future for being too polarizing. Classic colors, on the other hand, will always be respected. Maybe they won't bring a premium, but they will also never warrant a discount.

These guys chopped $15k off their price so I inquired. Worried about the state of those PCCBs but in my opinion, they're getting into the ballpark of what Id feel comfortable paying, especially for a .2 in Guards Red which checks every box. Have a solid buyer for my car coming today. Lets see if the worlds align and things work out....
