That being said, it was wild and I ate the BaT fee rather than complete that deal.

'Buy the seller' as they say.

Your new one looks amazing. I think you got quite a deal on it at $83k. Clean and no stories I am guessing? I ask because that price seems to be more in line with one that has 30-40k miles.

I wouldn't say no stories, its had plenty of track time in its previous life but well maintained and clean DME, coolant lines welded, sunroof deleted, trans has been rebuilt. It was Chris Cervelli's personal car as the 2nd owner.
3rd owner whom I bought it from has a few cup cars and races extensively so this one stopped its track duty 5 years ago or so when he got it and returned everything to stock.
I have a GMG roll bar and some track wheels it came with as well. I plan to do a few HPDE with it each year.

Looks like the seller wants close to 40k more than the winning bid on BAT.
Does anyone any past sales info for 7.1’s?

... and it looks like they drove it home to Signature, to the tune of 316 miles since BaT (was 4,908)

also, by my math, Signatures $126,500 asking price -subtract- BaT sale price $97,500 + 5K buyer fees = about a $24K increase (Jay911, maybe they decreased the selling price since a couple hrs ago when you looked)

Well you can find some of them on BAT. They range from $72k to $100k depending on what you are looking at between condition and mileage.

I would say most of them are going to be in the $85-90k range at the moment. Not to say that some will be $80k and some will be $95k. I bought mine last year and I have some sales date of these cars, but plenty of people have way more info than me.

You can see auction history by using the BaT search function.

Link to GT3 activity here: https://bringatrailer.com/porsche/911-gt3/

If you hover over the dots on the chart you can see the car and Sale (black) / Bid To (grey) price. Click on the dot to go to the auction page for that car.

While you can argue whether BaT prices are "true" gauge of value, it's about as transparent a source as you can find.
