I've never bought, but have inquired on cars in the past with no criticisms, and have never heard anything but positive reports from dealings with him.

I've done five transactions with Doug over the last several years (four involving GT cars) and am hoping to do a sixth very soon. Fair, honest, and no bull***t games. Highly recommended.

Had a flawless one with Doug for my GT car last year.

Are people only buying from Doug, or do you also sell to Doug? I assume he handles all transport? Thanks -

Of the five mentioned above, four have been trades (up and down) and one has been an outright sale (from me to Switchcars). Yes, he arranges shipping (setting aside responsibility for payment), which is a distinguishing service/benefit in my experience.

At least five transactions with Doug in the last several years, very straightforward, I will not do business with anyone else especially that dealer down in Atlanta

Many positive experiences with Doug and SwitchCars. I have bought and sold multiple cars with him. He has even helped me aquire cars from other dealers.

Haven’t done business with Doug, but he has been very honest about the cars he has offered. Have heard pretty much nothing but positive feedback from those who have done business with him. Knows his stuff especially with 996/997 GT’s and is has been one of the go to guys for these cars for a while now. Doug is certainly more honest than a certain Portland dealer that he had an ugly dispute with last year regarding a white 997.2 GT3 with undisclosed prior damage. They came in this thread acting very unprofessional and childish. This same Portland dealer on another car that Doug currently has up on BaT (black 996 GT3) threw out service records that could’ve affected the resale value. Mentions it in his podcast he did this evening 7-8 minutes in.

I guess this is not the same 4.0 they had a few years ago. That one had PCCB’s and Adaptive Sport Seats. This has steels and buckets.

My car came from said PNW dealer. There was nothing shady about the car, but some shenanigans in the course of negotiations for sure. Not trying to start internet beef, but happy to discuss the experience if anyone is ever considering a Portland car.
