for .2RS, my only WANTs would be a clean, well taken care of, no story, 2-3 owner car around 20k miles ( not a track rat ). Being an RS is enough for me, not looking for anything specific, options wise. Im keeping my other cars, so Im limited to how much I can spend.

cool. Then from my perspective, the answer I provided above for a .2 RS still applies,.. imo yes, you can definitely find a higher mileage example especially given you have no specific color choice, etc.
Have fun with the search. The fun is in the journey!!

That's why red looked familiar. I love this thread.
Dunno when I'll be ready.
If I sell two to buy one, then RS it is. But will I drive it or be chicken? A 3 I have no problem beating, track, autocross, touring etc etc....sounds like I answered my own question.
Too bad reds got history, I like it.....

upward miles will certainly land you a .2 GT3 RS for $140k. Especially when markmark added that he doesn't have a "must-have" list. Simple search found plenty. "properly sorted" is on the buyer to determine...

Could be a great driver RS.

Drifting
Smog issue is likely an easy fix, it may just have to be driven to cycle codes if the car was recently reset or worst case, new cats/O2s. I had the same with mine and replaced the 100cell cats with 200cell cats and CEL was cleared. Looks like a really nice car.

My brother is looking at a couple 997.2 GT3RSs. He is OK with some zone 1 or 2 over revs as he intends to put some miles on the car, but wants to make sure the engine is rock solid. I was wondering if anyone has looked at these two cars and found any red flags:
1. 2011 GT3RS white/red accents with 17k miles. VIN: WP0AC2A99BS783329. https://www.porschedelaware.com/vehi...de-id-29002789
2. 2011 GT3RS white/red accents with 23k miles. VIN: WP0AC2A90BS783235. https://www.porscheowingsmills.com/c...25ec86a1bd.htm
Thanks
