for .2RS, my only WANTs would be a clean, well taken care of, no story, 2-3 owner car around 20k miles ( not a track rat ). Being an RS is enough for me, not looking for anything specific, options wise. Im keeping my other cars, so Im limited to how much I can spend.

cool. Then from my perspective, the answer I provided above for a .2 RS still applies,.. imo yes, you can definitely find a higher mileage example especially given you have no specific color choice, etc.
Have fun with the search. The fun is in the journey!!

Highly unlikely you're going to find a properly sorted .2 RS for $140k.

Yes but not because of the five owners.

He's already elaborated in this thread before.

That's why red looked familiar. I love this thread.
Dunno when I'll be ready.
If I sell two to buy one, then RS it is. But will I drive it or be chicken? A 3 I have no problem beating, track, autocross, touring etc etc....sounds like I answered my own question.
Too bad reds got history, I like it.....

mine was sold for $135k but the car is not stock at all so I don’t know if that “qualifies” for being clean. I however do enjoy the mods done to the car and again thank the previous owner👍🏻

upward miles will certainly land you a .2 GT3 RS for $140k. Especially when markmark added that he doesn't have a "must-have" list. Simple search found plenty. "properly sorted" is on the buyer to determine...

i was purchasing this one months ago, did PPI and all checked out but didn’t pull trigger because of aftermarket fabspeed exhaust and “smog not ready”, living in California, I would not be able to register the car and didn’t want to deal with the headache so I passed. Jonathon at merit was great to deal with, paint meter was factory correct, all detailed pics satisfied my wants, the interior was clean. I spoke with the company that painted the lip and side skirts, they are reputable and felt comfortable with all aspects of the car except for the potential smog issue. It has an after market sound system with a large subwoofer box system, someone spent tons there and also an aftermarket exhaust, the car is lowered a slight bit. Basically paint checked out, PPI came back clean, Jonathon said it drove proper.
Could be a great driver RS.

Smog issue is likely an easy fix, it may just have to be driven to cycle codes if the car was recently reset or worst case, new cats/O2s. I had the same with mine and replaced the 100cell cats with 200cell cats and CEL was cleared. Looks like a really nice car.

My brother is looking at a couple 997.2 GT3RSs. He is OK with some zone 1 or 2 over revs as he intends to put some miles on the car, but wants to make sure the engine is rock solid. I was wondering if anyone has looked at these two cars and found any red flags:
1. 2011 GT3RS white/red accents with 17k miles. VIN: WP0AC2A99BS783329. https://www.porschedelaware.com/vehi...de-id-29002789
2. 2011 GT3RS white/red accents with 23k miles. VIN: WP0AC2A90BS783235. https://www.porscheowingsmills.com/c...25ec86a1bd.htm

Thanks
