There are so many times car ads with limited pictures are not what they claim and then other times where these ads are hidden gems. This car looks to be a hidden gem. It looks like a low option minty minty car. Too bad it's orange... I kid I kid.

Guaranteed one of the "big 3" dealerships picked it up.

Wouldn’t be shocked if the MILD collection (aka All Things Porsche’s) bought that .1 RS. He tends to pay top dollar for cars then charges way over market. After that they tend to sit for several months or over a year. Also sells cars to some of the larger dealers with the quality varying.

I've been sent two privately owned 1k mile pumpkins recently that were both asking 410k+ or so, one is supposed to go to BaT but now I wonder if they will ask for more after this one that was asking 450k for 3k miles.

Thats crazy. These cars are art pieces at this point. Sad that these cars will never be driven.

I don't question someone was asking $410K for a .1RS, but asking and getting are two different things. And there is simply no way a dealer paid $450K or anywhere close to $400K for one of these, unless it had delivery miles (and even then, probably not happening).

What's more plausible is for this $450K pumpkin to end up on pcarmarket or BAT. Pcarmarket has been known to reach out to sellers on PCA Mart to offer their auction services.

Can someone comment on the car below at RFMC? Any stories?
It's a pretty weird spec (no Sport Chrono, no buckets; Brake dicks look aftermarket).

I took a hard look at this car and found it to have been tracked heavily. Not that that should matter as the DME was pretty good. It recently had a body shop respray the front bumper and do some significant touch up work throughout. PPF was then applied to the front half of the car. Wheels were powder coated as well. All of this in combination with sofas and aftermarket iron I decided to pass.

That black 997.2 GT3 on BAT pulled in over $200K with the fee. It had the factory buckets but overall v. impressive given the presentation was mediocre at best.

@Upscale Audio I for one REALLY appreciated your post on BAT about that car - MBM one right?, I was looking at it, and was thinking of jumping into the bidding and then did some digging based on your comments and then found references to what you were talking about and more detail from your comments on Rennlist. THANK YOU - nutz that BAT deleted your post - it wasn't like it was 20 mins before the auction ended and what you brought was indeed the case on AutoCheck - ie an incident which was not on the CarFax. I actually would have bid on it even with that information if the seller had been transparent about it... Granted my top price with that info was probably 10-15k below where it ended up transacting at - but still - them deleting your comment was - uh not cool.

This seems to happen quite often with BaT nowadays. Know a couple people (one who is frequently on Rennlist) that have gone through exactly the same thing. People who point out legitimate potential issues in the comments getting censored because the seller does a lot of business on BaT and requests the comment get taken down. Then they are issued bans because of this happening sometimes only once.

This Monday the ACH crash, is just another reason to leave the car in the garage. Two Porsche's to boot. A Turbo and a 991 RS.
Condolences to you!!
