Was this not the car that had the right rear bumper section cut out to steal the catalytic converter?

Their cars don’t sit around very long. Rarely are they around more than a month. Offers really good cars for very fair prices.

I know people disagree, but give me the 1-owner car every single time.

I think most would agree that all else being equal, a one owner car would be preferred over a ten owner car. Where I think some start to disagree is when it is an item on a "Want to Buy" thread or making it a requirement in their search. Condition can go hand in hand with it being a one owner since I would agree that the less owners and shops that touch a car, the better. However, I've also seen some roached one owner cars and some mint ten owner cars. Number of owners, for me, tends to be more of a nice to have vs a must have.

Its all about service history on the car. I know some 1 car owners personally that I would never buy from but have seen 4-6 car owners with perfect history that I would buy in a heartbeat.

If that one owner was fastidious about maintenance and took great care of it, sure it can be great. On the other hand, if the sole owner was lazy about upkeep you've now got a car that's seen almost 18 years of neglect, which is far worse than 1 or 2 owners in a 7 owner car being lazy with maintenance. To me, the number of owners is so far down the list of things I look at and these cars are rare enough as it is that's I'm honestly not sure I care either way.

It's all a bit of mental masturbation but everyone is right in their own ways. That said, it's a lot easier to find a one owner car with records from new and where you can get the whole story of the car vs. one with five plus owners where it's been sold private party, dealer, broker, etc. And then you're hoping to do some forensic investigation or reach out to old owners to piece together a history from them and rennlist to get the answers you're looking for, especially for a car that's not local to you. I think it goes without saying that we all want the nicer, better maintained car irrespective of how many have owned it. So yes number of owners in a vacuum doesn't mean everything, but in context it can matter a whole lot.

Agree with both of you. Mine is not a low owner car, but after speaking with all the prior owners via email, in person or phone, the owners all seemed to want what was best for the car and didn't spare expense. I contacted them after I bought it. They took it to the best shops for service. I knew the history of the car. When it needed something, it was done. I didn't step into a car with deferred maintenance. I've done the same, making sure that if a shop said anything needed to be done, I said yes to it and did it immediately. My theory is deferring one item will eventually lead to a laundry list of items where you'll be so far behind, it is hard to dig yourself out. Also, on a high performance car, a maintenance item that isn't taken care of can have deadly results (in extreme situations).

LOL, WOOF! It’s strange through, a lot of the wheel wells and suspension components are very fresh looking. I wonder was some stock parts in storage a long time and all the track stuff came off. Alternatively the detailer just cleaned the wheel wells but didn’t bother with under carriage

one the one rims looks like it has had a nice ding on the inside too
