Nearly identical (except for the .2 RS, which is shorter) save for the fact that the .2 redlines 100 rpm higher.

I found this chart a while ago on Rennlist that's pretty helpful (don't know who created it originally). I think it's a few years old since it stops at the 991.1 and the GT4 listed is the 981:

Road and Track lists the gearing speeds from their data sheets. Here’s the ones for the 997.1 (3RS and GT2) and 997.2 (GT3 and RS 4.0).

Interesting to see that in their tests, the base .2 GT3 outperformed the .1GT3RS in every test. Better acceleration, higher top speed, higher skidpad and slalom numbers and shorter braking distances.

Not in every test. The looks test it placed behind the .1RS.

I guess it makes sense, as far as top speed and acceleration, as the base .2 is a 3.8L vs the .1RS 3.6. Objectively, I'm sure the MK2 will perform a bit better than the MK1.

The .1 RS sure is purtier though

The 997.2 at Merit is down to 204,991. Clean looking example but feels like it should be closer to 190/195 based on other recent BAT results and lack of PCCB

Are you shopping for a white .2? Did you make them an offer?

Nah - I talked to them about it maybe a month ago when they were asking $230 for it. Since then I picked up a .1 so not in the market anymore. Just think that .2 looks like a nice clean car so hopefully someone from RL picks it up

Gotcha…They dropped the price to 205k.

I agree that car looks good and 205k seems like a decent price.

Congrats on your .1
