Just got my OEM muffler organized, but still.
My 6 into 1 race exhaust must make more than 105dB.

I'll probably just send the car with quiet exhaust, but I'm in for any private track if the date works. I have to check but May looks good.

I can do point by's but you really have to want to see one.. Look closely!
Bring your LOUD exhaust for the So Cal/Nevada tracks....Buttonwillow, Chuckwalla, and Spring Mountain.

I'll PM you the name for my shop (GSR Autosport) that does Fri-Sun "arrive and drive" and "full track support" service offerings. Very reasonable rates too.

PCA/POC/BMW CCA have point-by even in advanced. Speed Ventures has 2 advanced with open passing. I personally like to give a point-by just to make it easy for the faster guy behind me.

There is no run group in PCA that is open passing/point by optional? Surprising.
I agree, though, that I always like to give a courtesy point by. If I see you in the mirror and you weren't there before, you are faster than me. I don't like to hold people up.

Ditto, I don't like holding people up. I like to see the lines that guys who are faster than me take...plus they are good rabbits and tend to inspire some fast laps.

In the Southeast, PCA is the most conservative DE club...Alabama PCA only has one run grp that allows passing in the corners and point-by is mandatory in that group and all others. They are geared more towards the guys that come out once or twice a year...not to trackrats.

Man, I don't know who's angry here, my friend I thought this was an open forum where one can voice an opinion without being "reprimanded" every time by someone holding a grudge...

You need to lighten up, Spyderman.

PCA SD is open passing in the red group but I still give the point by as it is a normal reflex.

POC reserves the red group for only club racers which is open passing for DE and TT events. All other groups are point by only.

I recall GGR is open passing as well. pt by encouraged

personally, I will not pass unless u pt me by or unless I know u. why? bc most likely the guy u r passing is a moron and will hit u. after all, if u pass me without my consent, I WILL take u out

trust NO one.

I only give pointby's to Mooty because it's safer for both of us : ). Divebombing often occurs between us : ). Mike
