PCA GGR at T-Hill on 7/12 -13. Combine with NCRC on 7/11 for a nice 3 day event.

May 3-4 with PCA SD at Chuckwalla is good too. SD runs a nice event and have a lot of Porsche club racers that attend that are skilled and considerate.

I like both.

Big willow has helped me grow a pair with speed. It is FAST. I actually think turn 8-9 is not bad, once you get that decreasing radius down, there is a ton of track there. Turn 1 however, so easy to over brake, plus 2-3 carry a TON of speed, then the downhill after the omega is easy to lose it (i did). While not a lot of turns, there is so much speed you can always find more. Every time I've been there I go faster.

Streets of willow is smaller and more technical. Its like a mini chuckwalla with narrower track and more elevation change. I prefer running this configuration clockwise as that back straight with the kink and the downhill braking zone is a lot of fun.

If my choice, I'd do a day on each. They both get a lot of events. Plus it's right central between Chuckwalla and Buttonwillow.

I'm a slow learner, I need 2 days to get up to speed and 4 days to get within a second or 2 of where I need to be. Depends a lot on the rabbits

Woah. That's quite the schedule. Fast with walls everywhere is Sonoma. You only have May 31/1 listed at Sonoma. June 28/28 with trackmasters is a Sonoma date, not LS as you have listed. Technically you only have 2 Sonoma days. NCRC doesn't run at Sonoma. HOD and TMR do, but they only have a handful of dates. NASA norcal has some sonoma days as well. I'm personally not a fan because of how tightly they pack the track, but some people like that environment.

Hi Peter! Long time no talk... Just put your 4.0 rear pads on the other day...fronts lasted forever. Looking forward to meeting you in Cali this late Spring/Summer. Don't forget Laguna's 92db weekend with SPEED VENTURES, July 18-20 if you're around. I don't know about your RSA's noise level but Laguna is now all 90db with just a few 92db's during the year. At least with 92db you can just let off past T5 and you're good :-); don't know about 90db... And I agree with Mike's (996DFLT6) comment on NASA... terrible schedule during the day (like drive at 9 and 10am and then again at 3pm or so :-(((. And car count? How does 82 cars in one session on a 2.2 mile track sound to you? That's what we had last fall. You're just being "choked" by Miata's... TRM is best, good group. HOD's expensive but good if you want to see Ferrari's..:-) Don't pay their price for Thunderhill, insane at now $325, I think. NCRC is the way to go at under $200 even including the upcoming 5-mile course. Keep the shiny side up and hope to meet up with you this year. Horst.
