Take Mootys lead. Go buy yourselves a nice 964 or 993 now before the prices rise further....

Hey! You nicked that form the 991 GT3 board! You cant say we arent capable of a bit of humour over there about the whole thing.....

Not sure if you guys saw the leak on a German site saying that the 991 GT3RS will be turbo?

Its unlikely to be true but has the European board members on a few sites speculating!

Source: http://www.t-online.de/auto/neuheite...ter-druck.html

here is a translation of one of the more interesting paragraphs:

"GT3 RS with Turbo: in the footsteps of the GT2
instead of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS take a huge step forwards and a mixture of GT3 and GT2 are. This is the Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer Porsche with this, the first prototypes for the GT3 RS fully succeeded. The biggest news is the Turbo engine, the new GT3 RS from immediately."

He's right behind me, cartel pricing is our only worry.

Skipping the GT3 RS and to straight to GT2RS would open it up to a $250k price tag and make it faster with a manual.

But no, it's a 4.0 NA

I'm always snooping on the 991 forum, but do not have much to add since I don't own a 991.

Wow that would be crazy and kind of cool if you ask me, but I know a lot of peeps will have a different opinion. I wonder if my 997.2 RS will go up in value as the last Mezger atmospheric manual machine .

Maybe people are getting confused by the scoops. The early test mule was definitely NOT a turbo car so I don't see why they would change that, but what the fug do I know.

Guys, I don't know if any of you saw last night's episode of Top Gear UK. They talked about the recent GT3 fires in their News segment and even brought Richard Hammond's 991 GT3 into the studio. All kinds of hilarity ensued!

yep; they even conceived the Top Gear 991 GT3 special driving gloves.

Attachment 809858

Glad my 997.2 GT3 is the last GT3 which only requires regular driving gloves

not many 997gt3 on track here b/c we now think they are too $$$ to track with $150-180 3.9 and $350 4.0's

no, it's true in norcal.

but those gt's that are on track are all running well, when they are not spewing coolant or dropping wheels off axles.

it's all good.
some Gt burns up

others lose their shoes.

take your pick.

i suffered all.
