Major German-style design flaw: high pressure oil pump right near a catalytic converter.

Yup, number 5 according some Italian Porsche forum. Rennteam has some good info on this.

According to the guys on Rennteam, Porsche has issued a "Stop sale" for all 991 GT3's in the US. Not sure if it's true, but not cool that's for sure.

I bet this affects the 991 RS release date as well.

So much for the prices of 997 GT3s and RSs going down. This is why I choose never to be a beta tester by buying the first few years of new model.

Sounds like the issue has to do with the oil changes...better not change the oil.
