Rumour has it the 991 GT3s wont be running in the next 5-6 month..
Youll see in a few days whether my info was correct - or wrong, but so far my info here on this car was mostly correct.
Nevertheless, I hope for you guys who ordered one it wont became reality.

Just in time for the weekend for another 30 pages per thread of text analysis, context discussions, assumptions and speculation!
So intriguing all..
I'm guessing the RS is a little ways off still.

Its been such great value for money this car! Since shortly after it launched in Geneva there has been so much debate about it. Then there were the production delays. To this day no one knows precisely why. Luckily my car was never destined to be one of the first batch built due to it being RHD so this soap opera didnt affect me. Next up was the "Picking the GT3 up in European Winter" dilemma. If you believed this board I would be dead by now from sliding off the road. But that didnt happen either. Infact it was one of the best driving tours of my life and a great way to clock up the first 2000+ miles taking in some great driving roads solo like N85, D2 etc. Heck I even drove it fast (everywhere I could)! Maybe we were just blessed but the weather was perfect for all but 5 of the 30 days. A bit chilly at night but clear blue winter skies. Then there was the thermostat recall. Mine was already the upgraded one so no issues there. Infact to this day (well as of last week) I don't have a campaign outstanding and its never seen the dealer since PDI at Stuttgart. Next it had a full groom and clean and the fitment of the 6 point drivers harness. Next it was trucked to Bremerhaven for its long journey down under. Before it left they inspected the paint using a UV light and noted a grand total of three stone chips (one on one of the wheel spoke vanes, one on the front bumper and one on the edge of the window). I was pretty chuffed with that given the ground covered and the pace (and condition of some of those Italian road especially in Tuscany!). The front spoiler lip even looked like new from a front visual (some grazes under the trailing edge from car park ramp in Provence!). I didn't spec lift either......so today she sits on a boat between Africa and Australia due to disembark in two weeks time. I expect my VIN to be clear of the "recall" by then. They can update the oil tube if they like as a precaution.....maybe Im dreaming or just high, but so far 991 GT3 ownership has been very good to me whilst also providing something every morning to look forward to in my inbox and on the forums ;-) I couldnt have wanted for more entertainment value - Ill even take the "compensation" PAG are mentioning if its $$$!
