"The 964 3.6L case is retained and re-machined with the displacement stroked to just under 4000cc using bespoke Mahle pistons and cylinders, controlled by super light ( and bespoke ) Carrillo con rods which in turn are connected to a Pankl crankshaft, also bespoke (there's a pattern here! ) Cylinder heads are custom made as is the fuel injection system that operates via 50mm Jenvey individual throttle bodies.
The engine has dynoed with around 315Ib/ft at 6000 rpm ( on a lovely progressive curve) and around 390 HP with the sense of more incremental gains as we fine tune. She's a monster and will imbue the cars with instantaneous thrust from lows revs and the same thrilling firepower when the rev limit is explored as the 3.8L engine - this time there's just more of it."
