Im trying to keep a safe distance. Its written in my insurance policy LOL.
Plus hes on Hoosiers. Fresh ones.
Maritime blue 4.0 (Juan?) short shifting too?

No question 4.0 is faster and I know all about cheater this and cheater that. Just surprised the gap to the 3.8s isn't larger.

Carter. I just go a little wider so that car is perp to bridge early do full throttle at bridge. Pinching that turn seems to scrub off so much speed and harder to get to throttle Lose a little going in but earlier gas on long turn and following straight pays off. Only tried it one day. Video cable came loose. I have data traqmate. Minimum speed t17 now 71 David tuaty was great. Well worth it.

+1

As Peter Krause and I have said here a number of times, get the majority of rotation done before the bridge...

We just ran the first night session.
Nice and cold and the sun went down, Mid 60's!

Traffic isVERY slow, so hard to put a good lap down before we start lapping them and point by in corners only :-( Too bad, the car feels nice in the cold. I lapped one car 3x in a 24 minute session. someone do the math. I still managed one flyer for my personal best.

We lost 2 RS with engine trouble today, make me worry as my pressure plate is going too, when the car is hot it does not want to declutch completely, but only after slowing down? On the track its fine.
The last RS also did that and they held on for many miles before it went so I hope I'm fine for the rest of the event.

Too bad for those guys because they really looked forward to the night driving and drinking. Hopefully they stay for the drinking.

Bummer. I thought DM usually did a good job of vetting. Guess it's not just more cars if you're putting people three laps down (although you are the world famous Trakcar).

Last session today in the dark.

I had the car to do better, but not the *****.
I never look at markers, but now I got a quick education where to brake at what cones etc..
Kinda tricky when you have no idea where to brake into T17 and your going 155. In the dark you actually see the speedo LOL. The VBOX display was too bright, that did not help either. The car felt like a rocket on slicks, but I could not gather up enough courage. My right leg has some involuntary spasm to lift..

?? I meant the Toyos feel like slicks in cold weather, or the race group put rubber down...

It's a unique experience on one hand in some corners I knew where to go, but at those speeds I was not sure enough, other corners i way over slowed others braked too late..
