Last session I messed up again.

Got in the car drove to the gas station. 10 cars in line, so I blew into Sebrinmg, filled up, drove back while strapping in and putting helmet on. Got to Sebring did some offroading through the grass to pit out and ot on flyer in. Another 2:17.4 first lap, so I was hopeful because the brakes were awesome. This was a much prettier lap! Than black flag for a CUP car crashing. ****, ****, ****. Forgetting tofuel up, so stupid :-(

Morning update, 2:15.5 and left time on the table, a lot of traffic thru the session and was going for a better lap, still adjusting to the grip level.
By the exit of turn 15 I was .49 faster than my 2:15.5 and screwed up 16.... Damn it !!!
I know that I have high 14s, but don't know if it will be possible anymore.
Car has been flawless, can't ask more from it. Still running stock diff no monoballs and car is not properly set up for slicks.
BTW still on stock clutch with 12K miles and counting.

Will post videos later in the day.
My 2:16.1 from yesterday is already posted on YouTube.

Wow. Now that's how you drop a 3.8 on a straight.

At the ALMS Sebring 12 hours last year, IMSA ran there too. Not the cold weather of January, but much better talent.

Sean Edwards (awesome driver) qualified with 2:06.6. Slowest qualifier, Cort Wagner at 2:08.8.

In IMSA, they run both the 415Hp 997 GT3 Cup 3.6 (Gold Cup), and the 450Hp 997 GT3 Cup 3.8 (Platinum Cup, more aero, fat wheels/tires).

7Cup 3.6 around 2:11-2:12, with a best of 2:10.77
7Cup 3.8 around 2:08-2:09, with a best of 2:07.99

Eddie boy unconfirmed 2:15.5 on slicks would be a 2:14 on Trakcar's 4.0RS on slicks. Trakcar's 2:17.4 on RA1 would be a another 2:14 on slicks.

A good lap with Trakcars's 4.0RS on slicks could make the 2:13s. Trakcar's 4.0RS is not near stock, it has near 100 lbs reduced from stock, and it has a 525HP engine. It still cannot not touch a 997 GT3 Cup 3.6, but it can run neck and neck with a 996 GT3 Cup (both cars on slicks), and that's impressive for a street car.

Put Leh in a 4.0 on slicks, I bet it does a 2:10, maybe less. You can't compare non pro times to pro times like it's apples to apples. Leh did a 1:31 at Road Atlanta in a stock 3.8 RS. Best DE cup time is 1:32-1:33 on R6's by depdog or Juan? And still 2-3 seconds to Trakcar/Izzone at 1:34.0 Put Leh on slicks in Peter's car and you are looking at 2:10 easy IMO. While DEcup may not know Road Atlanta like they know Sebring, Leh knows both equally well.

^ r u saying Leh is faster than Trakcar at Sebring by 4 seconds > BS.

Leh running 2:13s on Trakcar's 4.0RS as is (on RA1/NT01) or 2:14s on Eddie's car on RA1/NT01, no gonna happen.

The DE Cup Florida guys don't have enough track time up there at Road Atlanta, their times up there suck, and that's why most of them run in the Coffee Cup.

Your PS3 simulator just died. Go BestBuy and get a new unit.

Road Atlanta, the Florida boys are slow, that's why they run Coffee Cup up there.

Dez is 100% correct. Sorry, Rad, but you're all wet again. Someone like Leh would indeed be 3-4 seconds faster than the DE Cupcakes.

Nice driving, Eddie and Peter!
