There should be some video/data from the Cadillac event they had there recently, that's as close as we will get. We will be the first to provide the majority of goodies in our own cars from COTA.

Whew, takes gonna take some time to learn. It should be interesting being at a track where no one in the group has ever been before

Yeah I agree. I've tried studying the track map and some of the videos and I still get lost in the S's. Really looking forward to going though. Will be strange with a bunch of "rookies" though. Always nice when someone can ride with you or have someone to follow whose been there before.

Yeah the esses will take some learning as will the turn 12 to 15 complex and triple apex high speed portion towards the end.

Hopefully you all can get some street car video's of COTA because I don't think a F1 driving line will help much due to different driving dynamics...thoughts?

No F1 video only good for learning turn sequences. But the ctscc video I posted is great for our cars. They are platinum DE cup times.

Camaro seemed to be running 2:25's. The Cup car race lap times during the F1 event were 2:13-2:16 if I recall correctly. I'm guessing our times will be very similar to the GS; e.g 2:25 +/- :02 or about :10 slower than the cup cars. The last half of the esses tighten up dramatically, I'm not sure how I'm going to do those without lifting half way through.....
