Thanks to Peter for the heads-up. I'm in. Green group. And I'm local, so I'll probably bring different cars for different days, just to spice it up. Looking forward to meeting some of you.

As for weather, "winter" around here is usually pretty mild, with occassional cold fronts coming through for a day or two. Big temp drop with the front passing, then gradual move back to mild. Sometimes precip, but usually don't get much of that until Spring.

Now...which of you clowns stole all the garages??? I called to arrange one as soon as the confirmation email came and they were already gone. Damn.

Oh, and the warning on damage was basically "you break it, you pay for it". Including a $500 square/ft for asphalt repair for paddock dents.

Anyone that got a garage looking to split a space? They are supposed to hold 3-4 cars. I'm first on the wait list but missed out.

$500 a sq/ft? Streets must be paved in gold.

Got a few hot laps in at COTA this am at the Cadillac V-Lab ride n' drive....CTS-V's are quick, and the track is amazing. Definitely some stuff that will catch people out who aren't paying attention. We drove the full track, but were required to lift at 130 mph down the main straight. I had an understanding instructor that pretty much left me alone. Fun times. Cannot wait to get back out there in my own car.

Sounds great. I was told 7.2 cup reach top speed of 165 mph at end of straight before T12 so I'm looking at similar speed for my Cup and Z06 ..... No lift

I'm in. Green. Which I guess is advanced despite the color.

Is there a chart that breaks down all the colors, groups, and rules somewhere? Didn't see it on the site.

DD I don't think colors are correct for COTA. I think based on passing rules in green with point bys in corners and straights is an advanced group though. I am in Green too. Will see you there and looking forward to meeting all the RL's. Where is everyone staying. I made reservations in MVP hotel Hampton Inn South. Seems a long way away as I sit here looking at the snow falling. Supposed to get 2-5 inches today.

Mark told me there are couple advance groups such as blue and green to accommodate all the advance drivers
