Got a few hot laps in at COTA this am at the Cadillac V-Lab ride n' drive....CTS-V's are quick, and the track is amazing. Definitely some stuff that will catch people out who aren't paying attention. We drove the full track, but were required to lift at 130 mph down the main straight. I had an understanding instructor that pretty much left me alone. Fun times. Cannot wait to get back out there in my own car.
Yes, I was there also.. track is fun. I did find myself trying to focus on the track, there are alot of other things distract your focus. Lots of different colors, brightly painted signs ect. One thing, everyone will need good brakes. At the end of the two fast straights are 90 degree turns...

Wished I would have known about this. I would have registered.
As for Driver's Edge, they are not going to let new comers jump in for Cota. Also, no green students (beginners). They are good to run with, but are a littler stricter than most on safety. Red run group pass any where with a point by.

I actually like the 11-20 sequence. Even the slow parts have a good little flow to them. And the last part (I think 15), sort of reminds me of that turn at Bahrain. This is one time I plan not to miss a minute of any session.

That's good to know. I am aiming at bring both cars so I need all the space I can get for pit crew, umbrella girls, TV, BBQ, hot tub etc
