No credit for your 19s, same goes to GT3DE.

Porro showed me the 2:16.7 on the AiM Solo DL (Michelin Slicks and 4.0RS). Porro is the record holder.

Lost it ???

It's GoPro video !

Saturday, January 14, 2012 in a NON-RS, just a little regular black 2010 GT3 on hoosiers. May have been faster but it was my first time at Sebring. Yeh, yeh, iPhone, blah, blah, blah.
Curious to see how I will do next fall on those GT3DECup RA1/NT01 tires in the RS...

I'm leaving my Hoosiers and my slicks at home this weekend. They stick too much and cause fake supremacy feelings.

I'll be running street tires this weekend in my supposedly 2 secs slower car at Sebring, so if I'm 6 secs slower than Eddie and Clarke, I'm out-driving them.

surprised the arms race has not moved to all hoosiers and better yet, but if you are getting 40 track days a year, then the increased cost start to add up

Sticky tires make me dizzy, too much grip. I prefer less grip, more fun, easier to drive.

You need to dust me by more than 6 seconds to prove a point.

2 secs on Aero Beetle being faster track car than Fiat, another 2 secs on street tires vs. RA1, and another 2 secs on RA1 vs. Hoosier R6. If you can run a 2:22 on HooHoos and I run a 2:28 on street tires, we are even.

Hey there Mr. Friedrich Ludwig Gottlob Frege, thanks for the math lesson.

Bring the good tires Frege.

I haven't seen 275's. 265 19's in R6, A6 and MPSC all fit. In 18's, maybe it's possible to go wider (the point of contact is the front, inside shoulder against the back of the front bumper cover ... there's some plastic there that I think can even be released and pulled forward if need be ... not that you ever need full lock. As ever, maybe with some camber, the 18 will snug under the fender at full compression. I really like the feel of the 3.8 RS with 265's up front.

I just saw a 4.0 RS with the same setup this weekend at Sears (265's and 345's R6 in 19's with OZ Superforgiattas and Movit rotors) ... it was quite quick. : ) The driver is quite the hot shoe and he was turning :44's (from memory.) A stock 991S was there turning :50's (sounded rather dreary at wide open throttle down the front straight, maybe 110+ mph, almost like the whispering of a turbo rather than the raucous race voice of the 997 RS.) I've got some crappy video somewhere. The soundtrack is disappointing for the 991S. Maybe Sharkwerks bypass would open it up? Still, the 991S had no trouble passing a current model Vette and a point-n-squirt driven GTR (which looks huge in white and seemed to never have enough brakes into the T11 hairpin ... the GTR was consistently go nose down under hard braking at a point far earlier than the 4.0 RS, but still hadn't slowed down enough to hold the line ... of course, it could be the singer, not the song.)

Pretty sure 1" wider it will rub and you need -3 camber to get them under the fender.
If you remove or cut out the fender liner it should fit. Would love to try 275 RA1.

Outside T1, outside Bishop, outside T17, everywhere else you got no passing chance, as my Fiat outbrakes your pig Aero Beetle, and leaves the turns much sooner.

It has no chance of survival in the heat. Just kinda try to stay close so you can pass Rad when he pulls in the pit.

Too bad I can't be there.
