Any 4.0's for sale?

Just curious what's out there for sale in the US:

I only know of the white one at Carlsen for $249000,00:

And this pretty PTS orange one for $230000,00:

Plenty of GT2RS for sale for low $200K

No, just looking around and testing the waters, Mooty's car is not for sale. I already asked.

To soon to ask Mooty he usually keeps them at least 6 months. ;)

Get a GT2RS. Absolutely fantastic car.

TRAKCAR 04-30-2012 03:18 PM

I would love to drive one on the track.
Not sure if I like, throttle, lag, boost, saced, lift, throttle, rev limiter shift between each apex and track out....

good luck with the search man.

I think Graham's looks amazing! It also has the right specs for a track beast right?

I think you'd find the current GT2RS doesn't really suffer from any of those faults on track. Previous generation did, but this current one is sofa king awesome on track. Sticky tires/DAS or GMG bar/harnesses are literally all it needs. And the suspension is superb.

it could have 300 fewer HP and it would still be fantastic.

Peter in a GT2RS would be devastating at the track!

The countdown has started!

Peter...Bert Smith absolutely SUCKS...really sucks bad...liars, cheats and so forth.

Peter, have you spoke to Rad yet? Since mooty isn't going to the dark side, maybe you will? Join Rad and Scott in the horse community?

Scuderias has depreciate a lot, and you can pick up a well optioned virgin for 20-30k under what the 4.0s are going for. Capristo headers+exhaust+wheels, and save the rest for pads+rubber!

Rad has all the suspension settings already. I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing those :jumper:

To me it's the ultimate 997 sleeper. :D

Gearing is perfect, car revs beautifullyy, pedaks are just right, shifter is just right, steering is just right, no lag, engine noisy enouugh to hear revs but not overwhhelming, torque/power is smoooooooooth and unending. Fvcking incredible car. Best street car I have ever driven on track, by far.

why not just drive the 3.8rs this season. sell it afterwards. and skip a year, until the 2013/2014 gt3rs is out. by that time the MSRP on the 991 gt3rs will be 180 + options. the 4.0s will then come on the market.

I'll probably pick a 4.0 up in the next year or 2.
