After having some personal Code Browns and seeing friends break cars at other tracks I thought to myself why not just enjoy and remove a lot of risk and run my favorite and home track in 2012? Voila. I agree with you and think it is a very safe track as well. And also one of the most technical ones on the west coast. Near-autocross in some sections with a half mile front straight where GT2/GT3s will see 130-150mph.

With fear of jinxing it by saying it, I have yet to see a "crashed" car in three years of track events. Broken windshields, bent wheels, and some undercar damage from offs, but that is it.

Great location to have all the east coast cars trailered to in the fall for a private three-day track event? We'll rent the track and safety crew, you can camp in the paddock under the desert stars or do a hotel in Fernley a few miles away.

Why wait:
Sounds like a good start to an annual event. I would pitch in for that private event. What a great learning experience.

Too late for front part of year, summer heat there is brutal. October or even November would be great. I should put a poll thread up and see how many folks are interested. You can really get a feel for your car under a wide variety of conditions without a wall 10 feet away

Is that the same as, "you can't steal from a thief".

Hey SB - your car is on the Movit Facebook page. A vendor friend of mine was looking at their brakes for a customer and checking out the page and said - "Hey, aren't those your jack stands under that really beautiful car?" He sounded like a guy saying "how'd a guy who looks like you get a girl that pretty?" I would have been offended - but it is an awfully pretty car (and my wife is too good looking for an ugly grunt like me so I'm used to it).

Lol! Had no idea as I don't Facebook Why would anyone that owns a great car not put great jackstands under it? Besides, no other jackstand properly fits. Seems to be a no-brainer to me. Thanks for investing the time and effort into making such a great niche-specific product!
