Savyboy not sure if this was covered in the thread but would these Movit brakes fit with 18" HRE P40S monoblocks?
If you could please PM me the info on the Movit brakes.

Thank you

I've known about these brake for years, they are great and much better than the surface-only carbon-ceramics used by Porsche that I destroyed 6 of before going to steel in my old GT2. I looked into getting them, but sold the car before doing so.

They supply Koeniggsegg for the factory Agrera brakes and have recently worked with Alcon to sell Alcon branded sets for the Nissan GTR, which really needs better brakes (more so than any GT3).

This system would NOT fit with 18" wheels. Contact for US distributor is in the initial post- he would know of any alternatives for 18".

Tasty goodness. Demo laps with a 997.1 GT3 student in the car.

Will take this opportunity to add to the already mountainous stack of positive comment on Sharkwerks First-class group of enthusiasts. Worthy of your support!

Separate comment- the knurled bead seat on the Rays Volk Racing G12 wheels work. The was zero rotation of the tire on the rim. Two vigorous track days on the wheels and zero tire/rim slippage. My wheel balance remains intact. Another one of those things that pay an ownership dividend every day after the initial purchase investment.

I'm interested in an OE sized rotor replacement. Also, are the OE pads sufficient or are there Movit specific pads? Apart from the rotor wear I'm quite happy with PCCB implementation.

Hey- HOD "Cars and Coffee" on May 12/13 at RFR, sign up and come out? Most likely running the big 4 mile config, so much fun it is hard to believe it is legal.
Thanks Pete, I'm signed up for both days. Did HOD today at Sears Pt. and heading to Thunderhill Thursday. Getting to really enjoy this!

Agree, assuming these rotors will fit on every car I own from now till 30 years

Actually thats the only reason I didn't go for them. my 997.1 is a bit long in the tooth now, so I figured I would wait till I bought a Cup car and then put them on. They would pay for themselves in a single season.

Great video Pete! Intoxicating sound. Curious where you mounted the camera for that video perspective?

Pads remain a P40 material as far as I know but due to the different rotor surface the bite and modulation are different.

The distributor contact is in the first post.

Suction mount to side wing plate on rear wing. Going to try mount inside car, to back glass, facing forward next time. The sound inside the car is 100x better.

In winter I often switch to smaller, narrower rims along with winter tyres. Usually I fit spacers to get the clearance required for the calliper and rotor. Its a suck it and see thing.

Hey Pete - the video is like icing on the cake. Great thread!

Is one of your tidbits the alignment of the "RS" in the center cap with the "Pirelli" on the tires?
