Pete - Great job with the car, looks awesome. Will miss seeing you at the Northern California tracks this year. I never thought of only using 3 of the JackPoint jackstands, I'll have to give that a try.

Great mods and georgeous 4.0, thanks for sharing....

The company who makes these discs are a couple of miles up the road from where I live in northern England, it is good to see that Guido is getting them out there

Ha! You saw tidbit #1, well done my friend! Three cheers for torsional rigidity and inherant corner balance

HOD is coming to Reno-Fernley on May 12/13th. They usually do the "big" course, config B. You owe it to yourself to come experience it.

It worked out well, didn't it? Thanks for the kind comments. I understand it takes 2 weeks for Surface Transforms to make a disc, a very involved manufacturing process.

The CSC rotors were nixed by F1 on grounds of cost, some years ago.

He had his work cut out for him on this project!

Too expensive for F1, wow, that is an amazing statement

I was desperately trying to get the brakes bedded in for three hours yesterday in advance of my track day, er...Cars and Coffee this weekend. I guess over the past two days I have logged over one hundred 70-0mph stops and they keep on getting better. I am told it takes approx 450 such stops to get the system fully broken in. Such an enormous increase in swept area and thickness, have not yet been able to get them warm enough to even give off any smell.

Nicely done Pete! I wondered when the mod-bug would get you started on the 4.0!! Top rung as usual!

Soooooo...... What's next up? (You know there's a "next up")

I'm already signed up for Infineon that weekend. I'll try for the one in October with HOD.

It would be even better if I could say who was beside me at the time - a very famous Porsche name in North America (don't ask)

Pete

many years ago I was driving up to the lake from Carson, there is (used to be?) a series of corners you could take real fast with the sun in your eyes, but you had to count the corners, that time I miscounted and flew into a 60 mph corner at well over 100. I took my hands off the wheel and folded my arms tight ready to roll, the car just said 'OK, boss' and sorted itself out, somewhat embarrassed I retook the wheel and carried on, the girl in the passenger seat thought I was showing off!

There's plenty of great driving in NV

I am not in the 99.2%. Am very well aware of the Movit history and quality.
Awesome brakes for "CnC"
My question is, did you compare with the Endless product line?
Sweet 4.0 and enjoy.
